Shaker magnet

Ever since I participated in Fridge magnet swap at Swap Central India, I have been thinking of different things I can do with it. One of them was similar to Shaker card.

Since I did not have acetate sheet, I reused thick plastic that came as packaging.
Used Patterned paper as the front and stamped a simple and one of fav sentiments. Put in some sequins, seal both ends with Foam tape and ta..da.... my very own shaker magnet.

I wanted to use something with shine.. what better than Sequins.

Tiny box with a tag

Hello there...

I had this tiny box for years. It has this very beautiful shimmer to it which I really like. I decided to dress it up a bit.

All  I did was diecut some hot air balloons, stamped it and adhered it to the lid of the box with dimensional tape.

I punched some scalloped border and adhered it to the sides of the lid and some bling at the top.

This box will actually store some fridge magnets which I have made from same hot air balloon stamp and die cut. Love this set.

While I was playing with the box, I decided to create a matching simple tag with it.

The box and tag together --

Long time..no see?

Hello there!

It has been a looooong time that I have been here. Kinda neglected my blog. Not that I wasn't crafting, but did not get around posting anything here. But today is the day.

Anyway I made this quick card for The Play Date cafe Challenge. Here are the colors.

And my card based on these colors --

icrc17

I have been doing simple origami models for a while now.
When I initially started doing it, I used make a lot of shirts and dresses.
So when I saw ICR’s shaped cards challenge and the inspiration from DT, I decided to make another dress.
I had to modify the original model a bit, so that I could use two different DPs for the bodice and the skirt.
The pearls are locally bought and the DPs are from Paper Mania (not sure)

Here is the side view-

Since I don't have any sentiment stamps, I used one sticker which went with the color theme.

Before  I got onto the dress, I made a small paper bag. I intended to give it to a friend with some goodies inside.
Couldn’t catch her before she left for vacation.

I used local card stock. the buttons are from stash. DP is from Imagination store. The ribbon is from the goodies bag I won during ICR Birthday celebrations.
